THE CHALLENGE
Gen Z is often reduced to conflicting stereotypes in mainstream media—framed as tech-obsessed, politically hyper-aware, lazy, or overly sensitive. The objective of this project was to visually deconstruct these cultural perceptions, examining both the critical and celebratory narratives surrounding this generation.
THE SOLUTION
Generation Now is a concept zine structured through the visual spectrum of the rainbow. Each color explores a specific stereotype attributed to Gen Z, pairing fashion-style portraiture with bold graphic design. The project culminates in a group narrative celebrating the interconnected, social nature of the generation.
